Taking A Break This Christmas

So the Christmas break is nearly here, and we’re winding down for the holidays. And in order to make sure that we get some really good time to rest and relax, I’m going to be setting some very clear boundaries around work.

So, as of this Thursday, the voicemail and autoresponders will be on, and there will be NO work talk, NO checking emails and NO client communications. Just because I’m not going away anywhere for Christmas, doesn’t make it any less important to completely disconnect from work, so that I can focus on family, and get some proper R+R, and I encourage you to do the same.

The Christmas break can be hectic, with family, shopping, cooking and travelling around to visit relatives, so it’s even more important to shut down from work to give yourself space to rest, relax and enjoy yourself.

Hopefully you’ve all got a decent chunk of time off planned, and if you’re anything like me, after a week or so of a total break from work you’ll be full of new ideas and itching to get back to it, so I find the couple of days before New Year the perfect time to do my 2018 annual planning, and set myself some clear goals to achieve over the next 12 months.

If you’re looking to make 2018 your best year yet, then why not book in a free coaching session with me for January (just click here) to get you off to a great start and set you up to get going feeling clear and motivated.

And most importantly, take some time this week to reward yourself for all of your hard work over the past 12 months. As much as it’s important to set yourself goals, it’s equally important to take time every now and again to acknowledge all the hard work you’ve put in, and how far you’ve come. This is a key part of staying motivated within your business, and will fire you up to go back into 2018 with even more energy and enthusiasm.

So, I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas. I hope you have a fantastic break, whatever you’ve got planned. And I hope you all take time over the next couple of weeks to rest, review and reward.

Can’t wait to see you all in 2018

Kayleigh Alexandra
